From June 12 to June 20, 2025, a unique international legal internship was held, organized by the Russian-Moroccan Alliance at the request of the All-Russian State University (RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia). A group of 20 Russian lawyers, notaries, law professors and government legal advisers traveled to the Kingdom of Morocco to get acquainted with its legal system, cultural heritage and natural beauty.
Программа сочеталась в себе профессиональные встречи и экскурсионные мероприятия, позволив участникам не только углубиться в юридические аспекты, но и проникнуться духом Марокко.
The program combined professional meetings and sightseeing events, allowing participants not only to delve into the legal aspects, but also to feel the spirit of Morocco.
June 12 — arrival in Casablanca, visit to the Casablanca Notary Office. City tour, including the majestic Hassan II Mosque.
June 13 — transfer to Rabat and official visit to the Moroccan Bar Association (ABAM), where the first negotiations on cooperation between the countries on legal issues took place.
June 14-15 — immersion in the magic of the desert: guided tours of the Merzouga oases, meeting with Berber nomads, overnight in Berber tents under the stars of the Sahara.
June 16-17 — visits Ouarzazate and Marrakech, where the delegation met with the Moroccan Notary Association and discussed key topics: notaries, real estate alienation and digitalization of legal services.
June 19 — visit to Agadir.
June 20 is the final day: a visit to the Hassan II Faculty of Law, after which the delegation went to Casablanca airport with a wealth of knowledge and impressions.
The internship culminated in a meeting at the ABAM headquarters in Rabat, where a memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of the President of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance, Zuhair Said, and senior Moroccan lawyers. This document laid the foundation for a long-term partnership between the legal communities of the two countries.
The participants discussed the challenges of globalization, the impact of artificial intelligence on law, and the need to strengthen international cooperation. Special attention was paid to the similarity of the Moroccan and Russian documentation systems, which opens up new opportunities for joint projects.
This internship is a vivid example of judicial diplomacy, where law becomes not only a tool for professionals, but also a bridge between cultures. The Russian-Moroccan Alliance, led by Mr. Said Zuhir, has proven that such initiatives contribute to deepening mutual understanding and create a solid foundation for future cooperation.
This visit is not just an educational tour, but a significant step in strengthening Russian-Moroccan relations. The Russian-Moroccan Alliance continues to work, and there are new projects, meetings and joint achievements ahead for the benefit of the two countries.
Hundreds of photographs and videos, as well as publications in the Moroccan media, have preserved these moments for history.
The Russian-Moroccan Alliance is already working on new projects:
