I.I. Mechnikov Northwestern State Medical University has entered into a strategic partnership with the Russian-Moroccan Alliance, which opens up new prospects for the development of medical education and science. Given the high demand for medical professions in Morocco, this cooperation is of particular importance.
This partnership plays an important role in achieving the strategic goals of the Alliance, contributing to the development of medical education and science at the international level.
The University offers a wide range of educational programs, covering bachelor's, specialist, master's, residency and postgraduate studies in seven faculties and eighty-four departments. Every year, more than 4,500 students, 1,500 residents and 150 participants in pre-university training are trained at the university.
The scientific research activities of the I.I. Mechnikov NWSMU are conducted on the basis of ten laboratories, two institutes and one scientific cluster. The research covers topical issues of biomedical sciences and is aimed at improving the quality of public health protection.
The University is actively developing international cooperation, and students from Morocco are already studying here. The university's management strives to increase the number of international students by creating comfortable conditions for them and providing all the necessary resources.
NWSMU named after I.I. Mechnikov holds high positions in the ratings of Russian and international universities, including the 100 best universities in Russia, as well as the ratings of the Times Higher Education Young University Ranking and Times Higher Education.
