Doctors heal the body, and doctors' fairy tales heal the soul. This is the essence of the "Doctors for Children" campaign, which took place at the Gorbachev Research Institute and boarding school. Grotto with the participation of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance (RMA).
The author of the project, military doctor and writer Yuri Sukhonos, personally came to the children to read his stories about power and miracles. He presented each child with a set of 10 books. For visually impaired children from boarding school No. 1, the donated editions are adapted for visually impaired children. It is especially symbolic that the illustrations for them were created by the author's friends, also doctors, who found time for this noble cause.
The Doctors for Children project was launched in 2020 on the initiative of the Silver Cross Association and with the support of sponsors. During this time, his geography covered 18 regions of Russia, including new territories, and also reached the international level. With the assistance of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance, the books were translated into Arabic and given to young patients in clinics in Morocco. In total, the organizers held more than 80 actions and presented children with over 80 thousand books that teach kindness, generosity of the human soul and faith in miracles.
