The Doctors for Children project was launched in 2020 on the initiative of the Silver Cross Association of Specialists and Organizations in the Medical field.
In 2022, the project was presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The books translated into Latin were presented to the advisor to the President of Uruguay and the project became international.
Yuri Sukhonos' books were translated into Arabic and given to patients of clinics in the Kingdom of Morocco with the participation of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance.
In 2023, during a trip to Morocco, members of the delegation visited the cities of Rabat and Oujda, held two "Doctors for Children" events and presented books in Arabic to the kids. In addition to the author of the books, the president of the Silver Cross Association Yuri Anatolyevich Sukhonos, the delegation included: the president of the TIARA-MEDICAL group of companies Sergey Aleksandrovich Kuznetsov, the Vice-President of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance Alexey Yurievich Lomtev, thanks to whose help the books were translated into Arabic, the chairman of the Board of the Union of the African Diaspora "Inganzo Gakondo" Francois Xavier Tulikunkiko, who, together with the President of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance, Said Zouhir, provided invaluable assistance in organizing the action.
First of all, in Morocco, the delegation of the Doctors for Children project visited the clinic at the University of Muhammad the First in Oujda. Young patients were given colorful books by Yuri Sukhonos in Arabic, and they immediately immersed themselves in their study. Even toddlers who could not read looked at the illustrations with interest, and smiles unconsciously appeared on the faces of mothers and medical staff. The University specialists were glad to see their Russian colleagues, took them through the departments, told them about their work and asked about the treatment of children in Russia. The same situation developed in the hospital center at the University of Muhammad the Sixth, which the delegation visited later: children and parents were sincerely glad to receive gifts from Russia, and doctors asked with interest about the experience of their Russian colleagues.
During the visit of the project representatives, together with representatives of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance, negotiations were held with the leadership of the University. Mohammed the First, marking the beginning of Russian-Moroccan cooperation in the field of healthcare and special training of doctors.
