On December 4, Rabat hosted the grand opening of the representative office of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance Center for International Cooperation (RMA) and the Information Center of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) together with the Russian-African Network University Consortium (RAFU)/

"The cooperation of the RMA, SPbPU and RAFU in Morocco provides Moroccan youth with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the Russian language and culture of Russia. The SPbPU RAFU Information Center will help Moroccan and other African applicants improve their language training, learn about Russian universities participating in RAFU and make a more informed choice of their future profession. Here you can get information about the areas of training, enrollment procedures, grants and scholarships for studying in Russia," the organizers of the project told the audience.

According to them, the SPbPU Information Center will become "an attractive place for African students and will serve as a launching pad for obtaining high-quality Russian education."

The event was attended by representatives of major educational institutions, scientists, cultural and business figures, Moroccan journalists, as well as Russian diplomats.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Morocco, Vladimir Baibakov. During the opening ceremony, a cooperation agreement was signed between the RMA and the RAFU.
