On July 30, 2025, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Moscow solemnly celebrated Throne Day, one of the most significant national holidays, embodying the unity of the people and the wise rule of King Mohammed VI.
The LOTTE HOTEL in Moscow hosted a diplomatic reception dedicated to the holiday, hosted by the Ambassador of Morocco to Russia, Lotfi Bouchaar. The event was attended by the President of the Russian-Moroccan Alliance, Said Zouhir, and representatives of the business and cultural circles of the two countries.
Large-scale festive events were held in the capital of Morocco, and the king addressed the people, outlining the priorities of the country's development for the coming years. Vladimir Viktorovich Baibakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Morocco, took part in the celebrations.
"Russia and Morocco have a long-standing partnership based on mutual respect and common interests. Thanks to the efforts of King Mohammed VI and President Vladimir Putin, our countries have built a solid dialogue that continues to develop in all key areas," said Russian Ambassador to Morocco V. Baibakov.
"We highly appreciate Morocco's contribution to strengthening international stability and support King Mohammed VI's course towards a multipolar world," he added.
